Book Apocalypse

You can only read one book or one author before the end of the world, what/who is it?

After reading that question, my head has been spinning for a while now. There are many books I have read in my lifetime, which makes it difficult to just choose one book. Honestly, the world would have ended before I picked the appropriate book.

So, I’d pull a random book off my bookshelf and hope it’s a good one. (But what am I talking about? All the books that are on my bookshelf are great books).

Comment below what book you’d read if the world was ending!

I have a folder on my PC set aside just for books to remember to read next. I'm scared to look in there nowadays, though...because it's getting kinda full 😂!

I think in truth, if the apocalypse was near, I'd be hurrying to finish my own planned novels, so that if there ever was future generation digging through through the rubble, looking to see what past authors had written, mine would have a chance to be found.

The tough thing about this question is that I'm debating whether I should pick my FAVORITE book/author - or if I should pick a book that would bring me comfort or hope during the apocalypse haha. If it was my favorite book, I'd be choosing Into the Heartless Wood and if it was a book for comfort or hope, I'd definitely grab The Midnight Library or The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue.

Haven’t read those two, but I have seen them. The books look interesting though. And I agree with the comfort and hope part. Should have added that in the post.
