Book Review: The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Updated: Feb 2, 2022
Those who love reading, like to read book reviews. Book reviews are extremely helpful for finding your next great read. And one of the books I absolutely loved reading was The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes starts with a young teenage girl, Avery Gramhs, who lives with her sister Libby. One day she gets called down to the principal office, which is extremely weird because she never gets called down. A businessman, Grayson Hawthorne informs Avery her name is in his grandfather's will. Come to find out, Avery has inherited billions, instead of the Hawthorne family.
Now she is forced to live at Hawthorne's house so she can meet the requirments of the will. And she has to deal with fending off the Hawthorne family who wants nothing more than for her to disappear and answers as to why a common girl like Avery, would have her name in their grandfather's will.
Rating
As I thought over a good rating for this book, I thought all five stars would hopefully tell the world how amazing this book was.
Jennifer Lynn Barnes kept me engaged in the storyline the entire time. Along with an engaging storyline, the characters were relatable and I was able to connect with them on a deeper level. Overall the book was huge attention grabbing! I could not put it down, but when I had to put it down, the story never left my mind during the day until I finished the book!
